2.Our
Delivery
Our courses are available face to face, online or blended where necessary.
Eastlin supports two routes to qualification. Firstly, we offer a traditional candidate led course, which allows candidates to work in their settings with setting staff on their route to gaining a qualification. Alternatively, our Augmented SVQ Course provides taught inputs and group experiences to ensure candidates develop sound knowledge and practice. This route provides practical support for work based mentor staff.

3.Our
Assessment
Assessment on our SVQ courses is continuous and built into everyday work.
We appreciate that learners are working hard in their settings so our assessment is focussed on the needs of both the setting and the candidate. Both candidates and their settings are provided with block by block resources. Assessments are clearly set out for everyone involved. Candidates have the chance to carry out project work aimed at sharing best practice and improving outcomes for service users.
